CIBC | Software Engineer January 2022 - Present
Scotiabank | Software Engineer May 2021 - January 2022
  • Created MQ connections between existing and new Scotiabank channels to their core system to allow seamless message transfers in real time.
  • Helped creating API’s and programs to support Scotiabank’s legacy system and migrate important resources and assets to the development of their modern system.

    • TELUS Communications | Automation Engineer

    January 2020 - May 2021

  • Built and deployed an automated tool that allows TELUS employees to run usage or test price plans on any telecommunication device. Usually, this process would usually take hours to complete, but with this tool it allows my colleagues to run and test usage generation within minutes improving the turnaround time by more than 200%
  • Addressed bottlenecks in application performance by enhancing the use of threads and UI technology; improved runtime efficiency by 20%
  • Created another automated email service that would be used by TELUS to notify when a certification or license was about to expire. The use of Java POI libraries and JavaMail API, I was able to send custom TELUS templated email notifications 30, 60 and 90 days before the expiry date

  • Helped design and create a common software core named BuildX. This application helps keep uniformity between all Zenith’s applications user interfaces.
  • Used AngularJS to perform complex functions with simple clicks from the user allowing them to drag and drop UI components and deploy their application with ease using BuildX while meeting company formatting standards.
